BrioNancy is my first brioche shawl pattern so I decided to honour the person who accompanied me along my way in the discovery of this fantastic technique, my dear mentor Nancy Marchant.
BrioNancy (Brioche + Nancy) is a shawl inspired by a traditional triangular shape developed by Nancy Marchant in some of her patterns. Although the shape of this shawl is not my own invention, all the stitches used are designed and developed by me. You can see the stitches forming beautiful little flowers looking like roses in the centre motifs, and the colour combination also emphasises the rose motifs.
Is there a better way to honour someone than with roses?
